Tangy Lemon Cheese Crepe Recipe



This lovely citrus-filled lemon cheese crepe recipe is a true treasure, with its rich condensed milk, cream cheese, and flavored crepes... Children positively flip for them!

Ingredients:

1 Recipe Lemon Crepes
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz.) condensed sweetened milk
5 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fresh Fruit of your choice


Directions - Lemon Cheese Crepe Recipe:

With an electric mixed, beat the cream cheese until fairly smooth. Slowly add condensed milk, and continue to beat until mixture is lump free.

Blend in lemon juice, lemon peel, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Refrigerated cream mixture 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Once chilled, spread 1/4 cup of the cream mixture over each crepe and roll up. Arrange crepes on dessert plate. Serve with topping of sliced fresh fruit. Note that this recipe is a very sweet dessert, so the fruit of your choice should not require any added sugar.

Recipe yields about 10 crepes.
